MTA has helped me acquire two internships the last two years. The certifications have helped me get interviews with companies I would never have dreamed of, like IBM and HP. I am taking Operating Systems as a class and Networking classes for my Bachelors and it has helped me gain a better understanding of the subject matter.
I would definitely recommend anyone to get MTA certified. The reasons being:
1. MTA helps one get recognized as an Industry Specialist
2. Jobs sector becomes easier as far as getting opportunities

Returning Full Time Student
If someone asks you what the “normal” face of a college student looked like, I’m sure I would not come to mind. I am part of the “over the hill gang”, but due to Enterprise requirements, I found out my skills needed a major update to be employable in today’s workforce. A four year degree today is not relevant without new skills and certifications. I don’t want my age to be a determining factor, so I’m giving it all I’ve got!
Every certification taken adds a layer and depth to your portfolio. It can only assist you in obtaining your personal goals and should be considered a great accomplishment. I plan to take every opportunity while I am a student to pursue as many certifications as I can. In the very least, the certifications I have earned should be evidence that I was and am willing to go the extra mile!
Student of Software Engineering, Windows Apps Developer
This certification has helped me in my student career as a Software Engineer. In my first year of college I was allowed to work as an intern for my college’s server and network management. After completing that task, I was recommended for many different organizations to set-up their server and networking.
I was also allowed to volunteer in many community works, which included setting up computer labs in schools of remote village areas.
I recommended my classmates and friends get an MTA certification, they got certified for different versions like Web Technology (HTML5), Security, Network, and many other, and now they are doing very well in their positions; many of them are already employed. I am certain that this was possible only due to these certifications from Microsoft.
So, I recommend these certifications to students, IT persons and entrepreneurs, to open many doors for careers.
IT Support Specialist
I have always being involved with computers but I never had the paperwork to prove it and the Armed Services don’t give diplomas. Now, at the young age of 54 and retired from the Service, I went back to college and am in the process of receiving what I always wanted. I am also in the process of setting up my own business in cloud based management for wholesale/retail outlets.
Why would I recommend MTA Certification? Because it was my first step on that ladder to prove my ability to succeed and to prove to others that you are never to old to start.

MTA Certification at the age of 16 years has helped me achieve name & fame in my country. Making my parents, siblings, family, and school administrators proud is a major achievement for me after passing MTA. Gaining knowledge of current technology has allowed me to fast track my future studies and career. Getting job offers at a young age is another success. MTA will help me with better college applications after two years when I complete my A Levels.
I would definitely recommend MTA certification to anyone who is looking for a first step in achieving & building their successful career in technology. MTA certifications help such people to solidify their resumes and prove their skills. It is one of the best ways to gain fundamental knowledge & experience in the field of Information Technology.
In my job location, there are many Windows servers : 2003 R2, 2008 R2, and 2012 R2. The MTA certifications give to me a lot help in managing and troubleshooting these servers.
The MTA certification is to be recommended for every person interested.

IT Plant Support Specialist @ Piston Automotive
I applied for many jobs while going through an IT Specialist course that included MTAs in Database and Programming. I passed both exams. My current position is heavy on manipulating databases in a “Just In Time” production environment. I do not believe I would have been able to successfully gain employment without these two certifications coupled with my Associate degree. After I started my employment, I was able to jump right in and perform my job.
Not only would I recommend MTA certification, I already have. Certifications go beyond just a simple test and you have to be highly motivated and goal-oriented to not only successfully pass the MTA exams, but also to retain knowledge gained and be able to apply what you have learned.
Undergraduate Student of Information Technology (Networking and Telecommunications) in The American College of Greece – Deree College
Being an undergraduate student in Networking and Telecommunications, I had always been looking for opportunities that would allow me to evaluate and renew knowledge and skills. The MTA certifications I acquired proved to be an outright inspiring means that fostered the combination of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills interchangeably, which is a critical asset in every work environment and personal mindset.
I have already promoted MTA certification and will continue to do so, mainly because it is an invaluable method of reassuring and self-evaluating already existing knowledge, while obtaining new, essential bits of information that come to merge theory with practice in a unique, interactive and insightful way.

My MTA certification has helped my education by solidifying my core understanding of the tested technologies, and as a result, it has permitted me leverage when it comes to employer reviews and possible salary increases. Additionally, they’re a great stepping stone to higher levels of Microsoft certifications such as MCSD and MCTS levels, as they reinforce core understanding of those certifications.
Yes, I would recommend these exams. They’re terrific as an entry indicator for higher level certificates such as MCTS.

Acquiring the MTA HTML5 certification has definitely helped me in my growth towards web development. I learned that web developing can be cooler with HTML5 and interesting too. Moreover, my interviewer for my first job after college took a notice of me after he saw the MTA certification on my resume. I totally owe that moment to this certification.
I am sure that MTA will help me to understand web development better in future.
I would definitely recommend this certification to everyone who is interested in learning and getting an extra edge over others. It is the best way to boost up one’s knowledge.
