Studying for the test helped me a lot in learning more about the Windows Operating System and has assisted me in becoming a better technician in my own business. I know that in the future, colleges will look at an MTA certification and be impressed that I received one at the age of 15.
Yes, I would recommend MTA. It teaches you a lot more than you would think and opens you up to learning more. It was an enjoyable experience competing at BPA for this certification and it definitely looks great on your resume!

I earned two MTA certifications in high school. I was always good with computers and I have built every desktop I have ever had. Learning and studying for the MTA certifications changed the way I look at computers and networking forever. Now I am in college for software development to advance to higher certifications and a better life.
I was one of the only students in my class to take the MTA Networking Fundamentals certification because no one wanted to study for it. I tried to convince everyone I could, and would recommend MTA to my friends any day.

The MTA certifications I received reinforced the knowledge I already knew and propelled me into a full time career working with technology. I now manage over 500 PCs at more than 35 clients and am proud of the knowledge I gained from the MTA training path and certifications.
Yes, I would recommend MTA. It helps you get the foot on the right track and in the door to a fruitful career in IT. The exams are well done, and really highlight certain skill sets.

I am student right now but MTA certification helps lots in many ways. It will be great help in my campus placements as well as improving my skills. With an MTA certification in hand, I don’t have any need to prove myself in that area.
Definitely I would recommend MTA, simply because it is a proof of your skills, a great and genuine proof.

Becoming a Microsoft Technical Associate will help me when employers are looking to hire me as it shows that I am experienced in the field of Software Development Fundamentals. With my other experience I will further prove that I am capable of hard work and dedication. With my MTA certification, now I have further knowledge required to get my Bachelor’s in Computer Science.
I would recommend MTA to my friends who are programmers as the challenge of the certification proves that a person has the fundamental skills required in their field.
STUDENT GMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Being a certified professional of Microsoft has helped me in interviews with various companies. It has helped me establish relationships in the technology field.
I can recommend strongly MTA. They, like myself, will then be able to improve through these certifications.

I have been working on computers for over 30 years and was not able to gain many certifications because of the cost. The MTA certification path has provided practical certifications that I can gain and also implement in my classroom. I wanted to experience the exams before encouraging my students to take these. We have now implemented these certifications as a part of our classes and program. The changes for my students is incredible.
I have implemented five certifications into our programs as a final exam for my students. They now leave with not only a degree but certifications that help them get jobs. The program was started this year so most of our students will not graduate till next year. I expect the number who find jobs immediately will increase. I am so excited about giving these students a great start on a new career.

Earning my MTA certifications has helped me with my education and course work. I’m planning to go further into computers and get more certifications. I recently got a job because of my certifications and that is going to impact my life very well. I can’t wait for my future, going to college and getting better jobs and more certifications. Learning more about computers and Microsoft products is what I’ve done my whole life and love doing it.
I have recommended MTA certifications to my dad and a couple of friends. They let you learn the basics of Microsoft and it goes deeper than you thought before. Having these certifications can help you get an entry level job while you’re still working on your A+. Security+, Network+, or any other certifications you plan on getting to find better jobs or learn more about your hobby can help you and your friends and family.
Developer at Takwid Group and IT Technicial at CBC Health Services
My MTA certifications has helped me in understanding the basics of how Windows Operating systems and servers work giving me the ability to troubleshoot my computer issues and those of my friends. I got a job with CBC Health Services as an IT Technician using my MTA certificates to apply.
MTA is a ‘fast track’ to many opportunities in the Information Technology world.

While helping others get certified through the efforts of the Florida IT Server Group, I decided to explore the MTA exams myself. Working to certify in the Infrastructure track, I had to review technologies I haven’t (and don’t) touch at work. I also got to explore newer technologies in broad areas, again outside the framework of my job. Worth the effort.
With almost 20 years as an MCP and almost as many with the same company, you can get tunnel vision – focusing on the work. The MTA exams are not only a door opener for newbies to technology, they were an eye-opener for this veteran to revisit some old technologies I don’t handle every day and explore some new ones. Again, worth the effort.

This is the first certification that I have ever received in the IT field. This is just a stepping stone on my way to my career in the IT industry. I plan to continue through the CIT program at The Tennessee Technology Center and find a job where my intelligence can be useful to others.
The MTA exam and certification was relatively easy; however, I have been using Windows since I was eight. This MTA Windows Operating System Fundamentals certificate is a good exam to start with when trying to get a jump start on your IT career.
MTA helped me in many ways. It provided me with new technologies and allowed me to be adaptable with technology in general. MTA also helped me to get a good job and now I can be more productive in the IT field.
Yes I recommended MTA to many of my friends because MTA will help them to learn new technologies and it will help them to receive a good work opportunity.

My certifications have given me confidence amongst my peers, as well as confidence in the workplace — Or my soon to be workplace — My certifications have aided my pursuit of a career within my field of interest, and just days ago I got my first job, and I’m overjoyed. I foresee a solid foundation in my future as far as seeking out a career in technology goes.
Some do not realize the benefit of acquiring certifications. Not only do they show that you have the knowledge to be accredited, but they also show that you have the diligence to stick to a lesson plan, learn the material, and pass the test. Not to mention the feeling of successfully earning one, it feels wonderful, a feeling of success. This is the sense of confidence that I mentioned before.
