My MTA certifications helped me to secure a position with the Help Desk and within six months, I was promoted to my present position, where I run the data center for three hospitals in Northern Nevada, supporting over 11,000 users, 5,000 computers, and 400 servers. I maintain server hardware, perform tape backups, configure new systems, and maintain environmental controls and power. Now, my MTA certs are preparing me for the MCSA exams.
I would recommend MTA certifications to prepare you for an IT career & internship, and to prepare you for the next level of Microsoft Certified Professional certification. For someone considering an IT degree, I would recommend MTA certification to help you get accepted to a college degree program because it shows you are sincere about an IT career and you’re ready for the course of study and the certification exams you’ll be faced with in school.

The MTA certifications I earned have been instrumental in moving forward in both my career and personal life. It helped me secure a systems administrator position within the company I am now employed by, and has helped me elevate the quality and standard of living for my entire family. This was my first step in the process and was the foundation for everything taking place now. Currently I hold a MCTS for Windows 7 and an MCSA for Server 2012.
Yes I would recommend MTA certifications. I feel that MTA is a better foundation than other certifications of the same level within the industry. I have even received buy in from my departments stakeholders concerning early certification paths for our entry level IT positions, and have encouraged our help desk staff members to obtain these entry level certifications.
In my job location, there are many Windows servers : 2003 R2, 2008 R2, and 2012 R2. The MTA certifications give to me a lot help in managing and troubleshooting these servers.
The MTA certification is to be recommended for every person interested.

Before earning my MTA certification, I was working minimal wage jobs just to get by. Coping with rent, food, and diapers for a family of three was stressful. Getting my MTA certificate was the best thing that could happen to me. It opened a variety of doors leading to my current work from home job that I wouldn’t trade in for the world.

I have been working on computers for over 30 years and was not able to gain many certifications because of the cost. The MTA certification path has provided practical certifications that I can gain and also implement in my classroom. I wanted to experience the exams before encouraging my students to take these. We have now implemented these certifications as a part of our classes and program. The changes for my students is incredible.
I have implemented five certifications into our programs as a final exam for my students. They now leave with not only a degree but certifications that help them get jobs. The program was started this year so most of our students will not graduate till next year. I expect the number who find jobs immediately will increase. I am so excited about giving these students a great start on a new career.

Returning Full Time Student
If someone asks you what the “normal” face of a college student looked like, I’m sure I would not come to mind. I am part of the “over the hill gang”, but due to Enterprise requirements, I found out my skills needed a major update to be employable in today’s workforce. A four year degree today is not relevant without new skills and certifications. I don’t want my age to be a determining factor, so I’m giving it all I’ve got!
Every certification taken adds a layer and depth to your portfolio. It can only assist you in obtaining your personal goals and should be considered a great accomplishment. I plan to take every opportunity while I am a student to pursue as many certifications as I can. In the very least, the certifications I have earned should be evidence that I was and am willing to go the extra mile!

I believe that my MTA certification has helped me greatly in my education. I studied C# vigorously in high school to prepare myself for the MTA exam. While learning the language of C#, I discovered my passion for Computer Science. I took this passion and chose to declare my major as Computer Science when I applied for college. I have an introductory Computer Science class and thanks to my MTA certification, the work has been delightfully easy.
I would recommend MTA certification to anybody. Any certification makes the career-search more fruitful and easier. I believe that everyone should have some kind of experience in Information Technology and/or Computer Science. Obtaining a certification may unlock doors for people that they did not know existed. A certification may be all someone needs to discover their love for technology. It will also be a great asset to have in the future.
Undergraduate Student of Information Technology (Networking and Telecommunications) in The American College of Greece – Deree College
Being an undergraduate student in Networking and Telecommunications, I had always been looking for opportunities that would allow me to evaluate and renew knowledge and skills. The MTA certifications I acquired proved to be an outright inspiring means that fostered the combination of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills interchangeably, which is a critical asset in every work environment and personal mindset.
I have already promoted MTA certification and will continue to do so, mainly because it is an invaluable method of reassuring and self-evaluating already existing knowledge, while obtaining new, essential bits of information that come to merge theory with practice in a unique, interactive and insightful way.
