I earned two MTA certifications in high school. I was always good with computers and I have built every desktop I have ever had. Learning and studying for the MTA certifications changed the way I look at computers and networking forever. Now I am in college for software development to advance to higher certifications and a better life.
I was one of the only students in my class to take the MTA Networking Fundamentals certification because no one wanted to study for it. I tried to convince everyone I could, and would recommend MTA to my friends any day.
Web Developer at CRECOS Group
MTA has helped to provide me security in the knowledge that I have, in addition to giving me a starting point for the development of my career. In this way it is able to give more weight to my image as a member of a community.
Of course, as I mentioned from the beginning, I would recommend MTA. MTA helps us to mark a starting point in our professional career, developing our knowledge base of one area in particular.

I know that MTA certification is really necessary for students to understand how actual technology works in the IT industry. It will help me in my future area of the interest “software testing”.
I recommend MTA to my friends because it will cover core technological concepts and help them to fit into the actual IT industry.

The certifications I have received from Microsoft have helped me in numerous ways. Pertaining to my education, one or two of the certifications I have earned helped me to pass and understand half of the material in a college course. When it comes to getting a job in the future, I know that my MTA certifications will look good on a resume, and will solidify my knowledge and understanding of technology to employers.
I would recommend this certification to anybody pursuing a job in the field of technology. In today’s job market, it’s important to distinguish yourself in any way possible, and receiving the certifications has helped me feel confident heading into a new industry.
When my University Lecturer at Kenya Methodist University here in Kenya introduced the idea of being Microsoft certified, many students took it lightly without knowing the benefits of being certified. I, being an employee at Transoceanic Projects & Development, got promoted to head of the IT-Department in East Africa & Middle East. This was after I sent my CEO a copy of my Microsoft certificate and my salary was increased by 45%. Thank you Microsoft!
I recommend MTA often to my colleagues, co-workers and family members by explaining to them the benefits of being a Microsoft Certified Professional. My life style changed after a huge salary increment and my colleagues in finance department who are privy to the payroll came quietly to ask me why the CEO singled me out for salary increment leaving out other staff. My obvious answer was that I got a Microsoft certification, hence high performance.
IT Support Specialist
I have always being involved with computers but I never had the paperwork to prove it and the Armed Services don’t give diplomas. Now, at the young age of 54 and retired from the Service, I went back to college and am in the process of receiving what I always wanted. I am also in the process of setting up my own business in cloud based management for wholesale/retail outlets.
Why would I recommend MTA Certification? Because it was my first step on that ladder to prove my ability to succeed and to prove to others that you are never to old to start.

Getting my MTA in database administration certificate will give my resume an edge against the competition when applying for my future career.
It shows the employer you are willing to take initiative by becoming certified with a knowledge based on the company’s values and demonstrates the importance of continuous education.

Gaining certifications will further my business which I started in January at the age of 17. It will also help me to gain a career in the Information Technology industry in the future.
I would recommend the MTA certifications to anybody who is looking to further their career, or wish to gain certifications that could help them way into the future.

The MTA certifications I earned have been instrumental in moving forward in both my career and personal life. It helped me secure a systems administrator position within the company I am now employed by, and has helped me elevate the quality and standard of living for my entire family. This was my first step in the process and was the foundation for everything taking place now. Currently I hold a MCTS for Windows 7 and an MCSA for Server 2012.
Yes I would recommend MTA certifications. I feel that MTA is a better foundation than other certifications of the same level within the industry. I have even received buy in from my departments stakeholders concerning early certification paths for our entry level IT positions, and have encouraged our help desk staff members to obtain these entry level certifications.

I am teaching students in alignment with these exams. Having taken the exams myself, I know what the students can expect. I can also ensure that my teaching materials and methods help them with the exam prep process.
I would recommend them to anyone who needs to demonstrate a basic understanding of the technologies. I accept the certifications as substitutes for some of my courses at the college where I teach. If for no other reason than you can earn 15 quarter hours from me by demonstrating your understanding of the topic with your MTA certifications, you should take them.
