Database Administrator UF Health
The MTA certification was a key factor in me getting a promotion to Database Administrator. I had been going to school earning an associates degree focusing on database administration and had been talking with and getting guidance from the technical services manager at my work. Once I was able to show the MTA certification along with other efforts I was offered a great job.
Absolutely I would recommend it. It helped me achieve a goal I had been working very hard attain. The Certiport site was extremely helpful in showing me what areas I needed to focus on and helped me achieve this certification. This certification has really helped advance my career.

I chose to obtain my MTA certification to help provide the first step towards being well versed in the IT field. Passing my first MTA exam was a great confidence booster for me; I came out of that testing room smiling ear to ear. We should all show pride in any career we choose and extra certs help show that. I plan to take as many MTA certifications as I can before I graduate to help provide myself with a strong base in many different areas required for the field.
I would recommend that everyone to obtain as many MTA certifications as they can. Not only does it provide extra knowledge that we should all strive for, but it also helps show your dedication which is something that is always needed more and more in any field. MTA certifications are a great way to show your employers you’re dedicated by proving you’ll go the extra mile to better yourself for your career.

For 17 years, I was doing the same thing, television news. Different companies, but the same job over and over. So I decided to go back to school. Upon earning my MTA certifications, new opportunities have opened up to me. They saw that I was Microsoft Certified and could either add to their company or help improve. This led me to my current position. Inside a Fortune 500 company, offering service to those at board room level couldn’t be any better!
Even though MTA is a stepping stone into the IT industry, it’s a great stepping stone. It adds to your knowledge, yet it’s easy enough for computer literate people to quickly pick up. Don’t get me wrong, I thought I was computer literate before, but after these classes, I found I didn’t even break the surface. Once I earned them, the next level became easier and better to understand.

Gaining certifications will further my business which I started in January at the age of 17. It will also help me to gain a career in the Information Technology industry in the future.
I would recommend the MTA certifications to anybody who is looking to further their career, or wish to gain certifications that could help them way into the future.

Studying for the test helped me a lot in learning more about the Windows Operating System and has assisted me in becoming a better technician in my own business. I know that in the future, colleges will look at an MTA certification and be impressed that I received one at the age of 15.
Yes, I would recommend MTA. It teaches you a lot more than you would think and opens you up to learning more. It was an enjoyable experience competing at BPA for this certification and it definitely looks great on your resume!

My certification not only helped me with my work experience but has also given me a different view on the use of Microsoft technology. I use them to teach my high school and college students.
Each of my students taking a Microsoft certification will have a wide range of job opportunities. A Microsoft certification always has a high recognition both in a person’s personal and professional life.
Without hesitation I would recommend MTA.

My MTA certifications have helped me in many ways. Most notably, my certifications have helped strengthen my academic career. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of IT. As a result, this knowledge has increased my skill and confidence within the workplace. Many employers do not offer additional training resources, yet they expect professional development from their staff. MTA certifications are an excellent work-around to this
I would recommend MTA certifications to anyone who has an interest in IT. Whether it be family, friends, or co-workers there is immense value in these certifications. Many career opportunities become available to those who are properly certified. Even as a student, these courses provide the foundation for a deepened comprehension of the subject matter. Information technology is growing and evolving at a staggering rate. Who will teach you?
My MTA Success Story
I gained employment as a network administrator at a company called Takwid Group with the help of my MTA certification. It has really transformed my life. I now do private jobs in networking which was something I never thought I would be doing, but thanks to MTA exams is now a dream come true. MTA exams are the gateway and cornerstone for my IT profession and success. I couldn’t believe myself after obtaining my MTA exams certificate.
My MTA certificate has opened many doors for my IT career and I can’t wait to see my friends succeeding too. The skills I obtained just by taking the exams is enormous. I have seen many opportunities coming my way and strongly look forward to receiving other MTA certifications. MTA exams are the gateway into building a good IT profession.

MTA certification helped me very much to pursue further certification from Microsoft. It will help me a lot to globalize and also to take a few more exams.
Definitely I will recommend this certification to my friends and my classmates.
When my University Lecturer at Kenya Methodist University here in Kenya introduced the idea of being Microsoft certified, many students took it lightly without knowing the benefits of being certified. I, being an employee at Transoceanic Projects & Development, got promoted to head of the IT-Department in East Africa & Middle East. This was after I sent my CEO a copy of my Microsoft certificate and my salary was increased by 45%. Thank you Microsoft!
I recommend MTA often to my colleagues, co-workers and family members by explaining to them the benefits of being a Microsoft Certified Professional. My life style changed after a huge salary increment and my colleagues in finance department who are privy to the payroll came quietly to ask me why the CEO singled me out for salary increment leaving out other staff. My obvious answer was that I got a Microsoft certification, hence high performance.

Returning Full Time Student
If someone asks you what the “normal” face of a college student looked like, I’m sure I would not come to mind. I am part of the “over the hill gang”, but due to Enterprise requirements, I found out my skills needed a major update to be employable in today’s workforce. A four year degree today is not relevant without new skills and certifications. I don’t want my age to be a determining factor, so I’m giving it all I’ve got!
Every certification taken adds a layer and depth to your portfolio. It can only assist you in obtaining your personal goals and should be considered a great accomplishment. I plan to take every opportunity while I am a student to pursue as many certifications as I can. In the very least, the certifications I have earned should be evidence that I was and am willing to go the extra mile!

I am a 56 year old female and suddenly found myself entering school. AGAIN! I LOVE IT! The field I have chosen is Computer Information Technology. I am currently Security Plus certified with an MTA certification in security, along with an MTA certification in Windows. I have found that the MTA certifications have been especially helpful for me. They provided me with a measuring stick for my strengths and weaknesses, allowing to be better prepared for more advanced certs.
YES MTA certs are an invaluable tool for passing the more advanced certifications.

Immediately following my first MTA certification, my employer made the decision to update their current ERP system. How convenient it is that Microsoft Dynamics Ax and Blue Horseshoe is the powerful solution chosen to take the company to a higher level of excellence! In the upcoming weeks I will be enrolled in MTA Database Fundamentals certification and also will be a part of the project resource team to implement the new system.
I recommend MTA certifications to others. These certifications provide essential competencies for pursuing career paths. I believe Microsoft creates opportunity for those willing to join their pursuit to empower and enable people to realize professional success and potential.
MTA helped me in many ways. It provided me with new technologies and allowed me to be adaptable with technology in general. MTA also helped me to get a good job and now I can be more productive in the IT field.
Yes I recommended MTA to many of my friends because MTA will help them to learn new technologies and it will help them to receive a good work opportunity.
